The most popular wraps
Car wrapping is the ideal way to give your car a beautiful new look, using a special vinyl film to cover the entire car or certain parts of it. If you are tired of your current colour, car wrapping can be used to get a temporary new colour, and when you want to sell the car or change colour again, the wrap can be removed in no time. Brand-new cars are also regularly wrapped; a Tesla Model S wrap is an order that wrapping companies often receive. This is mainly because Tesla only has 5 colours available for all their models. When it comes to colours, you have a lot of options; which colours are often used?
Matt black
It is not surprising that matte black is a very popular wrap, after all, it is a wrap that is rarely available as standard from a car manufacturer and looks very nice. A matte black wrap goes very well with a lower, sporty car and you will usually see it on such cars as well. While it can basically be applied to any kind of car, it can sometimes look very overdone on standard cars and thus becomes a bit to much.
Carbon
You will also see a carbon wrap on many sporty cars. Cars in the more expensive segment such as Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porsches often already use carbon fibre to make certain parts. This is because carbon is a very strong but very light material, making it ideal for sports cars. Apart from that, it also just looks very nice, cars that fall just below this segment often try to emulate that look by putting a carbon wrap over certain parts. A car is actually never or very rarely totally wrapped with a carbon film, often it is smaller parts like a roof, door handles or mirrors.
White gloss
A shiny white wrap is also widely used in car wrapping, it is a popular colour and fits perfectly with a car with dark rims. Although a white wrap is popular, of course, it also has 1 major drawback and that is the same drawback you have with a white painted car, which is that it gets very dirty very quickly.
Gloss black
According to many connoisseurs, a black colour often makes a car look a lot nicer, so it is not surprising that it is widely used in car wrapping.
