These cars will hit the market in autumn 2025

Looking for a brand-new car that stands out? Would you like to drive a model that not everyone owns, making people want to do a number plate check? This autumn, a range of striking models will once again be making their debut on the Dutch market, from electric saloons and sporty crossovers to spacious SUVs. Curious about which cars you’ll soon see on the road? These are the main newcomers for this autumn.

Jaguar Type 00

Jaguar is taking a completely new direction with the Type 00. This model breaks radically with the traditional design the brand is known for. The ultra-modern, futuristic and minimalist design was spotted for the first time on the street earlier this year during Paris fashion week and immediately drew attention. No more classic grille or recognisable lines, but a streamlined silhouette that’s meant to usher Jaguar (and perhaps all other car design) into a new era. The launch is scheduled for the end of 2025.

Hyundai Ioniq 9

Hyundai is launching the Ioniq 9, a spacious electric SUV that caters perfectly to the demand for seven-seaters in the EV segment. This model, which is technically related to the Kia EV9, accommodates seven passengers and boasts a generous wheelbase of 3.13 metres. Even the third row of seats is comfortable enough for adults. With an estimated range of 550 kilometres and an average consumption of 20.8 kWh per 100 kilometres, the Ioniq 9 is not only practical, but also efficient.

Toyota bZ3C

Toyota is expanding its electric line-up with the bZ3C, a brand-new model coming to the Netherlands in 2025. At 4.78 metres long with a 2.88-metre wheelbase, it’s roomier than a Prius and similar in size to the Renault Rafale. The 272 bhp electric motor promises punchy performance, though the top speed is limited to 160 km/h. The exact range remains a mystery for now. What is certain is that the bZ3C will play a key role in Toyota’s growing electric offering.

Kia EV5

Following the huge success of the EV6, Kia is ready for the next step: the EV5. This model offers everything you expect from Kia, but with an even sleeker design and advanced electric technology. The EV5 promises an impressive range, a spacious and modern interior, and sophisticated driver assistance systems. This makes it an ideal choice for families seeking both style and practicality. The Kia EV5 is scheduled for launch in autumn 2025.

Suzuki e Vitara

Suzuki is taking its first serious steps into the world of electric cars with the e Vitara. This model features a 61 kWh battery pack and a 174 bhp electric motor on the front axle, providing a range of around 400 kilometres. Rapid charging is possible up to 150 kW, and with a towing capacity of 750 kilos, this electric SUV is also practical. Unlike many new EVs, the e Vitara has front-wheel drive. Suzuki has chosen this because it’s where they have the most experience.

Plenty of choice

There’s a wealth of choice for autumn 2025, with a range of new models further strengthening the electric trend. Whether you’re after style, space or performance, there’s something for everyone. Which of these cars would you like to see on your driveway soon?
