Why take a trial lesson at a driving school?

Many driving schools, offer a trial lesson. The fact that many students pass up this opportunity to learn about car driving lessons is simply a shame! After all, taking a test lesson has several advantages. Moreover, the trial lesson can be requested within seconds. What’s holding students back? The price tag? No need, you often earn this one back quickly.

Still not convinced why it is wise to always take a test lesson at a driving school? Then read on quickly and after reading this article – before taking single driving lessons or a package – ask for that test lesson after all!

Request a trial lesson

Requesting a test lesson before taking driving lessons from a driving school hardly takes any extra effort. After all, you have to contact the driving school where you would like to take lessons anyway. You might as well make the first driving lesson a trial lesson then. Yet many driving schools’ students do not yet request the test lesson. Is this due to the fact that in many cases this trial lesson costs money? Or are students not yet aware of the benefits?

The advantages of a test driving lesson

Whatever the reason for skipping the test lesson, it’s a waste! In many cases, starting the driving course right away will cost you more than having a trial lesson first. Besides, during the test lesson you will experience how the driving instructor teaches and whether this way suits you.

During a trial lesson, the driving instructor gets a picture of the level you are at with car driving lessons. This allows the driving instructor to make a fairly accurate estimate of the number of lessons you need to successfully drive a car independently. You will then be offered a tailor-made package and not a standard package with a fixed number of lessons. This is because not everyone needs the number of lessons that the standard package does pay for. The trial lesson therefore allows you to save on the cost of your driving course.

Ideal for students with driving experience

Especially if you have driven a car before – with another driving school, for example – it is wise to request a trial lesson first. Because of your previous experience driving, you probably master more techniques than the average driving school student and do not need a full lesson package again.
